Where one stands

Five years ago I had moved from the comfort and warmth of Tampa Florida and up north to Orlando. I managed to get some great jobs and took interesting classes, along the line I met some truly significant people. I kept busy with the ton of schooling needed the first couple of years and managed to keep my head above water for the most part. I had my first “job” at the Sbarros inside the student union at UCF thanks to some very kind people. By that time I had dropped Aerospace engineering and was looking for a major. A great opportunity came up for a better job and the chance so meet some great people at University House on Alafaya (you all know who you are). I worked for the company and moved to their other properties serving as an RA. After living at University House and working for the company for more than 2 years I decided to change the pace and try to get involved in my major, Digital Media. That became a struggle considering that I had moved out and was no longer working the hours I had been. I concentrated on work and school and less on what made me who I am. This was all about two year ago. Then I grasped this internship down in Winter Park, literally opening one major door as others closed behind me (my current employer cut my hours heh), but my internship started rewarding my efforts. Well I graduated and no less than two weeks later I had a job courtesy of my friend, boss, and who I consider my mentor.

So this is the beginning, where I currently stand and Im looking forward to it!
